Global Evaluation & Applied Research Solutions (GEARS) Inc. is a management consulting
firm founded in 2002. We are a woman-owned business with offices located in Decatur,
Georgia Boston, Massachusetts, and Leesburg, Virginia with access to a wide variety
of expert consultants. In 2004, GEARS was certified as a participant in the U.S.
Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development Program, and benefits
from services specific to the small disadvantaged business sector. GEARS was awarded
the GSA MOBIS contract in 2003 (GS-10F-0536N).
GEARS currently boasts a full time staff of 16 that complement our areas of expertise.
GEARS is organized into three divisions: Division of Evaluation and Applied Research,
Division of Organizational Management, and the Division of Information Technology
Services, reflecting core competencies utilized to provide our clients with a range
of services that allow for optimum professional and organizational management/development.
GEARS considers effective project management one of the most vital components to
the successful development and implementation of any good or service. By thoroughly
assessing the environment and nature of our client’s work, our team offers relevant
and strategic solutions. We take special care to ensure that every part of the process
is well-documented and evaluated to enhance the overall aesthetics and contents
